A working Fisher Humphries baler is just one of the many vintage farm machinery exhibits that will be on display at next month's Newark and Nottinghamshire County Show (12-13 May).
The organisers are well on the way to expecting over 100 exhibits with a week still to go before entries close on 20 April. Already entered is a full range of vintage tractors, stationery engines, and models.
Also on display will be milking memorabilia as well as the baler and a host of other memory-provoking exhibits.
Whatever their age, visitors to the show will delight in watching machinery of a by-gone age that heralded the change from horse-drawn plough to today's sophisticated implements.
