Wales CVO to address NFU Cymru conference

The Chief Veterinary Officer for Wales, Dr Christianne Glossop, will be guest speaker at the NFU Cymru Carmarthenshire County Conference on Monday, 10 January 2011.

Held in the Halliwell Centre, Trinity College, Carmarthen, the meeting will commence at 7.30pm. NFU Cymru members are invited to listen to Dr Glossop and will have an opportunity to take part in a question and answer session afterwards.

The Chief Veterinary Officer will discuss the Welsh Assembly Government’s approach to disease control and its Animal Health and Welfare Strategy.

Rosemary Jones, County Chairman for NFU Cymru in Carmarthenshire said, "We are very fortunate that Dr Glossop has agreed to come and speak at our conference and we are grateful to HSBC Bank PLC for sponsoring the event.
