Workshop on Manx Loaghtan sheep

Following a successful event last year, there will be another summer workshop show and sale for breeders and would-be breaders of Manx Loaghtan sheep.

The workshop and show will be held over two days on 21 and 22 June 2008 near Rugby and will cover aspects of keeping, breeding and showing manx loaghtan sheep as well as a show and sale that will include classes not normally included in the main sales that will show the diversity of the breed.

The weekend is aimed at experienced sheep farmers as well as the novice sheep keeper with the opportunity to investigate the many reasons for keeping this rare breed of sheep that is growing in popularity.

The workshop and sale will be held courtesy Jeff Clark at Woodbine Farm, Grandborugh Fields, Nr Rugby. Camping facilities are available on site and there is local accommodation nearby.
