Property Details:

The house at Altahammond occupies an elevated, south-facing position, with the accommodation laid out to benefit from the excellent coastal views. It is mainly of traditional construction with more recent extensions to either side. The accommodation is over two storeys and beneath a pitched slate roof, with a white painted exterior. External features include dressed stone quoins, mullions and columns on the front façade. The original part of the house is believed to date from the late 19th Century. The house is named after the original townland of Alty Hamon, which was absorbed into Templecorran townland.
