Boxer – first choice for early spring control of cleavers
Good control across a wide range of temperatures means Boxer (florasulam) should be the first choice for cleavers control in winter cereals this spring.
A mild winter has led to forward winter cereal crops that would benefit from early control of cleavers. "With temperatures still fluctuating from hard frosts to very mild conditions, growers should ensure they choose a product with the flexibility to work well in both cold and mild conditions" says Dow AgroSciences' Jim Butchart "Boxer is ideal for these situations."
"Boxer works well under cool conditions as long as the cleavers are growing and is our first choice product for cleavers control at this time of year. Boxer has the added benefit of being compatible with Atlantis." explains Jim Butchart.
