Rain boosts farmers' crop confidence

Steady rain at the weekend has revived hopes for crops in the far north-west of Victoria and added to the growing confidence of farmers in the Wimmera and southern Mallee.

Falls of between eight and 16 millimetres were received across most of the region at the weekend, with the best falls at Edenhope and at Mount William in the Grampians.
